I'm a designer

I brainstorm, make sketches, create ideas, stay up late, think outside the box, put things into perspective, connect old forms & ideas and create something new, communicate, ask questions. Use methods such as Storytelling and Experience economy.

Design is thinking in solutions.

I work in PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Coda, on my MacBookPro but mostly with my brain, paper and pens in all colors.

I make websites, build clear and straight forward navigational systems with respect for the user, the message is the key, the presentation of the message is where you want to make emphasis. Be different.
I set up domains and email, basic programming in XHTML and CSS, some PHP and JavaScript and write text for the web in both English and Icelandic. I do SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and find ways to make your website visible to your audience.

I make marketing material for print. Logo, identity, namecards and stationary, packaging, leaflets, brochures, books.

I try to work with new, smaller businesses that are trying to find their right spot in the world.
